John is a veteran police officer in charge of daily operations at the Monee Police Department and an avid martial artist. John began his training in the martial arts along with his son, John Jr., in the Progressive Fighting Systems and Jeet Kune Do Concepts, but moved on to Bandalan Doce Pares Eskrima in 1998 where he discovered a welcome home attitude and a wealth of knowledge and skills to absorb. John is a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. A law enforcement professional, who’s most recent training assignments included teaching rapid response tactics and weapon handling to state, county and local law enforcement officers. John offers Bandalan Doce Pares Eskrima classes in Illinois and enjoys spending time preparing a new generation of martial artists to compete and propagate the art world wide. John also offers the Sergeant at Arms System to qualified police and military personnel in Illinois. |
